A Wealth & Wisdom Workshop:  Estate Planning Tips for Financial Wellness and Legacy: Presented by the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council, Florida Atlantic University Foundation, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute FAU   

In Celebration of Estate Planning Awareness Week, you are invited to join us for a free interactive seminar made possible by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council, and FAU Foundation as we explore key estate planning topics. Expert panelists in estate planning will review case studies and share estate planning considerations in light of available planning strategies and tools: Including, but not limited to, estate and tax planning, legal considerations, estate administration, investing, and life insurance. A free networking reception will follow.

Moderator, Lawrence J. Miller, Esq. (“Larry”) Miller has been representing individuals, families, banks and trust companies, charitable organizations and foundations in Florida for over 40 years. He is a shareholder in the Gutter Chaves law firm in Boca Raton whose law practice combines litigation and contested matters in probate, trust and guardianship law, with estate and family wealth planning. He has not only represented clients in such matters but has served and continues to serve as court appointed counsel, guardian ad litem, administrator ad litem, special master, guardian, investigator, mediator and arbitrator in Florida litigated probate, trust and guardianship disputes. Larry’s law practice also includes contested and complicated interstate and inter-jurisdictional probate, trust and guardianship litigation, disputes and issues.

Panelist: Joshua N. Goldglantz, Esq.:  Joshua practices in Gunster’s Boca Raton office as a member of the firm’s Private Wealth Services group. As an accredited estate planner and attorney board certified in wills, trusts and estates, Joshua concentrates his practice in the areas of tax, estate planning and asset protection planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. Joshua advises clients with respect to planning and implementation of sophisticated estate planning structures in order to transfer wealth to future generations in a tax efficient manner. Joshua’s practice includes domestic planning, charitable tax planning, business succession planning and wealth preservation. Joshua also has experience advising fiduciaries in all aspects of estate and trust administration, including post-mortem tax planning. 

Panelist: Adam T. Sherman, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, MSFS: Adam Sherman has built his career on his experience and knowledge in all aspects of wealth management, with a focus on estate planning strategies and asset management. Panelist: Julie Clairmont Shide, CFP®, MBA: Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor Senior Portfolio Management Director NMLS 1278643 The Harbor Financial Group at Morgan Stanley Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Julie Clairmont-Shide has more than 37 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor at The Harbor Financial Group at Morgan Stanley. As well, she is a Senior Portfolio Management Director within the firm’s Portfolio Management Program. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). She has deep experience and extensive training in the areas of financial and estate planning strategies.
