Seminar: The Holocaust: Is Enough, Enough?
This session provides participants with a chance to delve into the significance and objectives of Holocaust education in America. Eighty years post-World War II, some wonder if the topic has been excessively covered, leaving nothing new to learn. Many question if it's time to move forward, allowing fourth and fifth generations post-Holocaust to explore diverse facets of contemporary global history rather than fixating on a six-year period from the last century. Shouldn't we broaden our perspectives and offer opportunities for deeper understanding beyond this singular event? This session aims to spark discussions on the evolving role of Holocaust education in shaping collective memory and fostering critical thinking about historical atrocities. This program is being presented as a seminar with limited enrollment to foster discussion.
