The Jewish Connection: Pop Songs By Jewish Artists   

What do "Tumbalalaika," "Hava Nagila," and "Sunrise Sunset" have in common with "California Dreamin'," "Up on the Roof," and "It's My Party?" There's a Jewish Connection! Spend a delightful afternoon singing pop songs by Jewish artists such as Carole King, Bette Midler, Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, and so many more, and learn fascinating stories about the songs, the artists, and their Jewish backgrounds. This program opens with a Yiddish song, closes with a Hebrew hora medley, and is packed in the middle with fabulous Billboard hits, all by Jewish artists. As always, there will be slides with photos and lyrics for you to sing along. Be ready for some surprises!
