Seminar: CSI: Inside Forensic Investigations   

Enter the real world of CSI in this fascinating program that delves into the techniques and strategies crime scene investigators use to complete work at a crime scene. This interactive course explores photography, evidence documentation, scene sketches, and search strategies. Participants will also engage in a crime scene reconstruction exercise designed to demonstrate techniques used by investigators to sequence events at crime scenes. This program is being presented with limited enrollment to foster discussion.

Pat McLaughlin is a Forensic Investigations instructor at FAU and an adjunct lecturer at John Jay College, with over 20 years in the NYPD, including 15 as a crime scene technician. He has processed nearly 8,000 crime scenes and combines deep field experience with scientific research in DNA, fingerprints, ballistics, and blood pattern analysis.
