Ata Sarajedini, Ph.D., is a professor and the Bjorn Lamborn Endowed Chair in Astrophysics at FAU, with previous leadership roles at the University of Florida. His research focuses on stellar populations in Local Group galaxies, and he has held postdoctoral and faculty positions at prestigious institutions like Yale, Kitt Peak National Observatory, and San Francisco State University.
