Harry I. Chernotsky, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus in Global Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and former founding chair of the department. Specializing in international political economy and American foreign policy, he is the author of Crossing Borders: International Studies for the 21st Century and has led numerous initiatives in international studies education throughout his career.
