Living with the Sins of Their Fathers: The Children of Nazi War Criminals - Bundle Eligible

In this compelling lecture, Dr. Berkowitz profiles some of the most notorious Nazi leaders, including Hermann Goering, Heinrich Himmler, and Adolf Eichmann, exploring their roles in planning the "Final Solution" and their war crimes. He will also delve into the children of these mass murderers, examining how they navigated the monstrous legacy of their fathers. Dr. Berkowitz will discuss the struggles, choices, and consequences faced by the descendants of men who were once revered but later condemned as war criminals. Drawing on biblical interpretations of the "sins of the fathers," he will engage the audience in a thought-provoking discussion about guilt, responsibility, and the intergenerational impact of family history.

Dr. Irving Berkowitz is a nationally and internationally recognized scholar in social policy, organization theory, and Holocaust and antisemitism studies, with a 42-year career in higher education as a professor, dean, and academic vice president.
