Join us for a one-time lecture, accompanied by PowerPoint slides, that explores the eight Jewish individuals who have served as U.S. Supreme Court Justices. This session will provide an overview of each justice and highlight the similarities and differences among them. Of the nearly 120 people who have served on the Court, only a few have been Jewish Americans: Brandeis, Cardozo, Frankfurter, Goldberg, Fortas, Ginsburg, Breyer, and Kagan. Who are these eight extraordinary jurists? How did their backgrounds compare, and what constitutional legacies have they left behind? Roy Klein will guide you through their lives and careers, offering a deeper understanding of this remarkable group he refers to as "The Elite Eight."
