Join us for an engaging program that offers an overview of the most common records used in genealogical research, featuring examples from the USA and Europe over several centuries. The session will also explore how DNA research- using three types of DNA- can extend genealogical investigations when records are unavailable, highlighted by real-world success stories. This presentation, enhanced with PowerPoint visuals, will provide a syllabus with links to valuable resources for further exploration. Participants will learn about available resources, the types of information genealogical research reveals, and the joy of sharing family history. Ricciardi Paschke will showcase example pages from family books to demonstrate how visuals can enhance storytelling. By the end, you'll be inspired to begin your own journey of discovering and sharing family history.
