The trio Peter, Paul and Mary was created by promoter Albert Grossman in 1961, and with their rich harmonies, they became one of the most influential groups of the 1960s. Peter Yarrow, Mary Travers, and Noel Stookey, whose middle name "Paul" Grossman insisted on using to complete the catchy group name, had top-10 hits with four of their first five singles and introduced Bob Dylan to the world with Blowin’ In The Wind and Don’t Think Twice. This touching program tells the story of their rise from Greenwich Village to the national spotlight, with live performances of their most popular songs (including If I Had a Hammer, Puff, and Jet Plane) while slides illustrate the commentary of their story and include lyrics for audience sing-along.

"The program was wonderful and the audience was singing along. We all had fun and learned a lot." OLLI Patron
