Join Autumn for an accessible 0.75-mile boardwalk hike through the Wakodahatchee Wetlands. During this spring breeding-season walk, Autumn will teach participants to identify many resident species and point out notable plants and other wildlife encountered along the way. You’ll observe bird nesting behavior and the rearing of young, learn to name at least three common birds on sight, and gain skills to differentiate herons, egrets, and other wading birds. Wear comfortable shoes, and sun protection and bring water and binoculars if you have them. Arrive 10 minutes early for check in.
Registration deadline: Thursday, March 5th
Location: Wakodahatchee Wetlands, 13270 Jog Road, Delray Beach, FL 33446
