Pop-Up: Israel at Crossroads   

In this special Chastain Johnston Middle Eastern lecture, Professor Rabil will host Professor Stephen Sussman, of Barry University, co-president and co-founder of the Palm Beach Center for Democracy and Policy Research, Dr. Irving Berkowitz, a renowned scholar on the Holocaust and contemporary antisemitism and former Dean at Palm Beach State College, and Professor Eyal Lewin (via Zoom from Israel), of Ariel         University and a Major in reserve service at the Home Front Command.

They will delve into various topics, including President Trump’s peace plan for Gaza and its challenges and implications for Israel’s domestic and foreign policies, Israel’s strategy for Iran and what was called the axis of resistance, rise of anti-Semitism, and the future of  US-Israeli relations.

This event is free for FAU faculty, staff, and students.
